OUR APPROACH

Simplicity
takes thought.

An ingredient is chosen for its role. A claim is made when there is evidence to support it.

Ingredients used in foods

EIREN development starts with ingredients used in foods, with identity, purity and specifications appropriate for cosmetic application. This includes edible oils and, where needed, substances used as food additives, such as plant-derived carnauba wax.

This does not make the finished cosmetics edible. Skin use and food use have different requirements. Suitability for babies must be assessed for each finished product.

Sikalias Formulated Without

The proposed formulas were reviewed against the intentionally added ingredients covered by the two Sikalias policies. Final compliance requires supplier documentation and checks of carriers, processing aids and potential impurities.

The policy describes our formulation choices. It does not mean that all ingredients we leave out are unsafe, or that fewer ingredients automatically make a product safer.

Ingredient research and finished products

Published research informs oil selection. Studies differ in participant ages, skin condition, formula, duration and application amount. Their findings cannot automatically be attributed to EIREN products.

Checks before launch

Planned work includes a safety assessment for the intended age and use, microbiological quality, stability, packaging compatibility and substantiation of final claims. Shelf life will be based on the results of these checks.

EIREN is not available yet. The collection is not presented as clinically proven, hypoallergenic, sterile or intended to treat skin conditions.
